Colorectal Disease
The digestive system, or tract, is where the foods we eat are turned into fuel for our bodies. The large intestine is the part of the digestive system where the colon and rectum are located. When the colon or rectum are not functioning properly, you may experience problems such as bloating, gas, pain or bleeding. That discomfort may not be a sign of a serious health problem but you should also be aware of the conditions and diseases that can affect the digestive tract, such as:
- Rectal cancer
- Colon cancer
- Diverticulitis
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease( Colitis or Crohn’s Disease)
